Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek
- Morning:
- Arrive at Manas International Airport in Bishkek.
- Transfer to your hotel for check-in and a brief rest.
- Afternoon:
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- City tour of Bishkek: Visit Ala-Too Square, the State History Museum, and the Osh Bazaar
- Evening:
- Dinner at a traditional Kyrgyz restaurant.
- Overnight stay in Bishkek.
Day 2 – Almaty — Bishkek-Chon-Kemin 180 km, 3 hours of driving)
Departure towards Bishkek — Chon-Kemin, 152 km, 2.5 hours of travel.
- Depart from Almart at early morning at 06:00 am – Arrive to Bishkek around 10:00 am.
- Arrival at an Ala-Archa National Park, located in a gorge. A short walk for 1-2 hours through the mountain forest along well-trodden paths surrounded by clean air, a clear river with rapids, and breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks.
- After drive to the Chon-Kemin gorge En route a stop at the historical Burana Tower, where you’ll get acquainted with the stone balbals featuring remarkably preserved expressive faces. The location is intriguing not only for its architectural structure and historical significance but also for its mystical legend, which the guide and museum on-site will share with you.
- Dinner and a night of relaxation at a cozy guesthouse of Chon-Kemin,
Day 3 – Chon-Kemin– Semenov gorge — Karakol (280 km 4 -5 hours of driving)
- Departure towards Chon-Kemin — Karakol, 280 kilometers, 4-5 hours of travel.
- Arrival at the relict valley of Semenovka. Enjoy a leisurely short walk and have a picnic amidst the generous nature with a splendid view of lush greenery, babbling rivers, fragrant mountain forests.
- Arrival and accommodation in a guesthouse in the city of Karakol.
- Dinner at a cafe.
- A sweet night in a comfortable house of Karakol, with a toilet and shower in each room.
Day 4 – Karakol -South shore of Issyk-Kul lake (144 km 2 — 3 hours of driving)
- After breakfast, we drive along the southern shore of lake Issyk Kul to the village of Bokonbaevo. On the way we visit Jety Oguz Valley with the famous red rock formations “Seven Bulls” and the “Broken Heart”. Your guide will tell you the legends of how the rocks got these names.
- After drive to Barscoon gorge. And have a small hiking to waterfall.
- The next stop is the canyon “Skazka”, translated as “Fairytale” due to its bizarre rocky landscape, which for many years has been transformed by wind into fabulous sculptures and formations. We go for a short hike.
Day 5 – Breakfast at the guesthouse.
Departure towards the southern shore of Issyk-Kul — Bishkek, 250 kilometers, 4-5 hours of travel. En route visit Alamedin gorge. Arrive to Bishkek.
